“Fairy Tales and Castles: Between Reality, Imaginary Beings, and Places”

Matthias Kern will show his work at the Westchester Children’s Museum in Rye, NY from May 7th to the end of July 2022. There will be new work as well as older pieces on view; etchings, woodcuts, linocuts, and acrylics.

Kern’s vision is to achieve with his art feelings that we all have experienced and to allow his audience to personalize those emotions to mean something specific to them. The artist invites you to be transported back to that world where our imaginations ran free.

The opening will take place on the 7th of May (5-7pm) and there will be two printmaking workshops for kids (for age groups, dates and times please visit the Westchester Children’s Museum website.
