Sigrid Sperzel is a printmaker and book artist.
She grew up in Germany where she received Master degrees in Political Science and German Studies from JW Goethe University in Frankfurt and studied printmaking with Anne Deinzer at the Kunstschule Kronberg. Later she moved to New York where she currently pursues her work at the
Manhattan Graphics Center.
Her work has been included in numerous exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Her prints are in the collections of the New York Public Library, The New York Historical Society, Syracuse University Art Galleries, The Newark Public Library, The Library of Congress, Washington D.C, The National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center, The Klingspor Museum, Museum for Modern International Book Art, Offenbach, Germany, The Museum of Applied Art / MAK, Frankfurt, Germany, The Stadt-und Universitätsbibliothek Frankfurt, Germany, among others.
