Biography

I am a printmaker living and working in Cincinnati, Ohio. My first prints were created in 1977. I’m grateful to have learned from a master printer who taught not only basic old-school skills, but advanced techniques, from making grounds from scratch, to mixing our own etching inks.

My primary focus has been on traditional intaglio techniques on copper plates. In recent years, I’ve been exploring alternative photographic print processes such as polymer photogravure, cyanotype and gum bichromate.
