Megan Tatem is a Black queer multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Harlem, New York. Her practice uses film, fine art, and pop culture as critical tools to examine identity, belonging, and the complex intersections of Afrofuturism, sexuality, and feminism. Through a research-driven approach, Tatem investigates how visual culture can reflect, challenge, and reimagine systems of representation. In addition to her independent work, she has served as an art director and designer for Netflix, The New York Times, GQ, and Solange Knowles.
