Biography

Marina likes to combine world mythological stories with personal experiences and literary creations. She finds the fullest expression of her artistic credo in the mystical poetics of ancient civilizations, in Babylonian mysteries and Kabbalistic numerologies, the art of alchemy and the austere simplicity of Zen.

Marina immigrated to the US in the 90s from Odessa, Ukraine, where she got her diploma in Theater Arts and Puppet building. She got her BFA graduating from SVA. In 1999 she joins the ASLNY where she studies printmaking at M. Pellettierri’s class. She received Merit scholarship and was selected two times as a Red Dot winner.
