Biography

Native New Yorker who now divides my time between the city and upstate.

Graduated from Queens College with B.A. in Art. Worked as an art editor in publishing and later was a vintage collectibles dealer.

As a longstanding member of the Art Students League I have exhibited there and through their Operation Outreach. Had two person shows with Neal Einfeld at the Millbrook Gallery, Millbrook, NY., Litchfield Connecticut Library , and Donnell Library, NYC. Recently had work accepted at the Old Print Shop. My love for animals has led to numerous pet portrait commissions.

The arts are so important in our increasingly hi-tech world. Art has always been a big part of my life; from drawing and painting, to design and fashion; and of course my love for printmaking, with its infinite creative and technical possibilities. The thought and effort involved in producing a print is so rewarding. It’s always an amazing moment seeing that first image!
