I am a printmaker, painter, and graphic designer living in St. Louis, Missouri. My first Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree was in Painting from Missouri State University in 2007 and my second was in Graphic Design from Maryville University in 2017. My full time job is graphic designer. However, every spare moment I have, I am working on a number of prints. I recently started doing paintings to resolve problems I know I will have in a potential print. I truly am compelled to create something, anything. With my abundance of prints, edition sizes have become very small.

I create etchings, engravings, woodcuts, screenprints, mezzotints, dry points, cyanotypes, and collographs. Recently my more cohesive body of work has become predominantly copper etchings. This work has also become more esoteric. As someone with mental illness, I like to express myself in a way that can be viewed and not verbalized, as a form of my own introspection. The work is not necessarily quickly understood. That is why titles have become more and more important. It invites the viewer to interpret the print guided by the title.
