Joseph is a printmaker living in Tucson, AZ. He has been printing, primarily with woodblock for almost twenty-fives years. He is a self-taught printer and has focused on the tools and materials. He focus on the natural beauty of the Sonoran Desert, including animals, landscapes with urban elements and skyscapes. He creates a sense of place connected to the Sonoran landscape and culture.

My printmaking process is my attempt to allow the viewer to grasp the beauty of life i see through myself. I have spent years honing my style, tool work and color palettes. I am most engaged when i have a visual problem I am trying to solve.
