Space and the way we move through it has always been a fascination of mine. My images explore the dynamic between the city’s architecture, and the individual’s place within the world. Night, with the transforming property of its light, is often the subject of my work. The reality of the world by day gives way to romantic and mystical undertones at after dark. I am a dreamer who finds a sense of control by creating dramatic settings in which events can unfold.

The most common focus of my work is capturing the mood of a place. Using photographs I have taken for reference, I construct scenes by eliminating objects; manipulate lighting, shadows, and perspective to better draw the viewer into the piece. My goal is to capturing the essence of a place and time.
