The environment plays a huge role in Fabiana’s artwork. She grew up close to the rainforest in Brazil and noted the changes in the forests and beaches over the years. Working with plants, along with printmaking, brings back the memory of her connection with nature and the importance of it in our mental well-being.

Fabiana’s art depicts the changing of seasons, interactions between plants and animals, and how humans relate to the natural world and one another. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and three sons.
