Emily Barnett is a painter and printmaker whose work spans figuration, nature, and socially conscious themes. Her accolades include a First Prize at the Salmagundi Club National Print Exhibition and a Thomas B. Clarke Award from the National Academy of Design). She has exhibited her work across the US and is represented in permanent collections including the City of Seattle, Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University (NJ), and Adelphi University (NY). Barnett holds an MFA from Louisiana State University and has taught at numerous institutions, including Parsons School of Design at The New School, Adelphi and Hofstra Universities.
