Lisa Goddard is a Rhode Island artist, co-founder of Studio Goddard Partridge, a community printmaking studio in Pawtucket RI, and past executive director of the Newport Art Museum. She has taught printmaking, painting, drawing and journal-making. Her work is held in public and private collections including: University City Art Museum, Guangzhou, China; Boston Athenaeum and Fidelity Investments.

She writes, “The art of the printmaker is an endlessly challenging process. I believe it takes boldness to cut into woodblocks; confidence to gradually pull the image from multiple plates; precision to correctly register paper and blocks; and trust that in adjusting the image and the colors, the final print will achieve the original vision.
