Based in Boulder, Colorado, Theresa Haberkorn has exhibited her award-winning woodcut prints in numerous national and international galleries and exhibitions. Her work can be found in museum and corporate collections including The Denver Museum of Art, The Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art in Denver, Colorado, and The Children’s Hospital of Denver. Theresa has been awarded artist in residencies at the Grand Canyon National Park on the North Rim, and the Art District of Breckenridge Colorado. Theresa is also a member of Boston Printmakers, and is a printmaking instructor at the Art Students League of Denver.

Observations of plant life and nature have inspired my artwork for many years. As an avid gardener, I never get tired of working in the soil, nurturing tiny seeds into life, and watching them change through the passing seasons. In my work, I strive to capture the fleeting beauty of the colors and forms that I find in nature. Observing these changes reminds me of life’s cycles and with each season, the passage of time. In my work I hope to inspire people to pause and look more closely at nature and appreciate the transient beauty it offers.
