Eligibility: Each SAGA member in good standing may submit one print for the exhibition. Dues for 2019 and 2020 must be paid. Please pay your dues prior to applying or your print will not be considered.

Artwork Requirements and Entry Procedure

Size: There is no size limitation for the work. Print must be matted in white or off-white mat with a minimum of 2″ to 2-1/2″ borders and stiff backing, preferably foamcore. Please adhere to this format or your work will not be displayed. Please note: The installers of the show may need to attach Velcro to the back of your print for hanging.

Fee: $45.00 by check payable to SAGA and mailed to SAGA, 32 Union Square East, Suite 1214, New York, NY, 10003 or by PayPal on the SAGA website. Please make sure your name is listed in all your submissions so we can properly credit you for payment.

Entry form: Submit entry form online or via USPS mail to the SAGA office.

Send jpeg to Jpeg should be saved at 300 dpi, no larger than 1,200 pixels in any direction. Label your jpeg as follows: last name_first name_title_image size_medium. Example jpeg label: Doe_Jane_Portrait_5x7_Lithograph.

Print out label and attach one to the back (in the middle) of your matted print. Please adhere to this format or your work cannot be considered.

Entry fee, entry form, and jpeg are due by September 1, 2020. SAGA dues must be current (see above).

Shipping and Receiving

Delivery of Shipped Work: Attach the print label to the center of the back of the matted print along with a prepaid return shipping label in an envelope – work without a return shipping label cannot be returned. Send your work in a sturdy shipping package to SAGA’s office (address above). Please make sure you can track delivery of your artwork. No work can be mailed directly to the Salmagundi Club.

All shipped work is due by September 17, 2020.

Hand-delivered prints must be brought to the Salmagundi Club (address above) Sunday, October 11 between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM only.

Artwork will be available to be picked up in person on:

-Friday, October 23 after the reception at 8 PM, OR
-Saturday, October 24 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Hand-delivered work cannot be shipped back to artist. If you cannot pick up, arrange the aid of a friend. No work can be stored. All work will be handled with the utmost care. However, SAGA is not liable for any damage or loss of work entered. If you require further protection, please arrange your own insurance. Your entry in this show indicates your voluntary compliance with its terms.
